Michelle Hoglan is the owner and Director of Online Strategy for Top Hat Creative Marketing, her company works primarily within the Healthcare Industry and they have been improving the online presence of their clients since 2014. When she received a devastating diagnosis of breast cancer she realized that she could take her knowledge and use that to help other women who have been diagnosed and don’t know where to turn. Her goal is to make women feel empowered with knowledge and the courage to get through their journey with as much grace and ease as possible, and you know, kick a little ass along the way!!

MY STORY

I was diagnosed with Stage Two Invasive Lobular Carcinoma Breast Cancer on September 12, 2016. It was devastating, something I thought would never happen to me. I started a Facebook Group to keep my friends and family updated on how I was doing, doctors appointments, surgeries, etc. To try and keep my sense of humor about everything I decided to name it The Boob Report! A couple of friends who were part of the group made the important decision to get mammograms and received a diagnosis after that my husband (aka Prince Charming) said “honey, you have to do something with this group!”. And to even further confirm that it was meant to be two friends and work colleagues prompted me to buy the domain name and as they say… the rest is history!

I know how difficult a time I had to find answers to my questions, there is so much information available but sorting through it all after receiving a diagnosis can be daunting. I am creating a “one-stop shop” for women to go to find information from Doctors, the best place to buy a bra after surgery, what helps with nausea after chemotherapy just name a few FAQ’s. I hope you find this website a useful resource!
